💣 The foundation of every decision in an organization is decision governance.

But decision governance is often reduced to a single tool, activity, or control.

It is not.

Decision governance ≠ committees
Decision governance ≠ orchestration
Decision governance ≠ version control
Decision governance ≠ process control
Decision governance ≠ human in the loop (HITL)
Decision governance ≠ decision modeling (DMN)
Decision governance ≠ security and access control

These are parts of the governance system.
They are not the governance system.

✨ End to end decision governance must cover:
• Decisions
• Context
• Actions
• Actors (Agents, Humans and Systems)
• Accountability
• Control
• Traceability
• Continuous improvement

This matters even more when decisions are made by autonomous agents and AI.

🚩 Because an autonomous agent (a form of actor) does not only decide or execute logic.
It interprets context.
It selects actions.
It interacts with systems.
It changes outcomes.

Without decision governance, autonomy becomes uncontrolled execution.
