🥇The first principle of a Open Decision Intelligence Platform is to be interoperable, open, and interchangeable.
It is a BIG goal to achieve.
💢Without an open standard that customers, vendors, and end-users agree on, this goal becomes impossible to achieve.
We are lucky that the first version of DMN, the open standard for Decision Model and Notation, was released in 2015. It is an open standard for business rules, business decision modeling, and execution. Over the years, it has evolved to cover many different scenarios and use cases.
The movement does not stop there, though. For #DecisionIntelligence, we need an open standard. But business use cases are more than just rule-driven automation.
Business decisions are complex and need:
🔹A Composite AI model that models and specifies hierarchical and multistep business decision models.
🔹Integrating and unified platform for multiple decision technologies such as #businessrle, #optimization #machinelearning #data, and so on
🔹Enabling business and operation teams to understand not only the decision model but also hands-on building, maintaining, deploying, and operationalizing them.
🔹Orchestrating between data, systems, processes, humans, #ai agents, and data sources, for decision-making scenario
🚀The combination of the Decision Model and Notation (DMN) standard, plus advanced technologies such as long-running orchestration, #machinelearning, and #optimization, will give organizations a platform to adapt and adjust to a changing environment and create new opportunities to lead and excel.
