🛑 STOP watering down Decision Governance.
Decision Governance is not just DMN.
It is not just BPMN, CMMN or process orchestration.
And it is definitely not just another framework around AI and agents.
💡 Decision Governance must cover the full operational picture:
• Processes and decisions
• Context and knowledge
• Admissibility and action
• Agents, MCP, tools, and runtime behaviors
• OWASP risks for LLM applications and agentic systems
✨ And Decision Governance is not only for AI agents.
It is for every actor across the enterprise:
• AI
• Humans
• Systems
Because decisions do not only happen inside an AI agent.
They happen across processes, applications, people, automation, and AI.
💣 Many try to reduce Decision Governance to orchestration and DMN.
And they talk around the operational runtime layer,
pretending those are enough to solve it.
Enterprises need a Decision Governance runtime.
A runtime that can govern:
• How processes and decisions behave
• What context and knowledge are available
• What actions are admissible
• Which actors can act
• Which MCPs and tools can be used
• How agents at runtime behaviours are controlled
• How security, governance, and compliance requirements are enforced
That is the full picture of Decision Governance.
🚩 Anything less is just creating the next governance and compliance problem down the path.
