⛔ STOP treating decisions as technology artifacts.
Business decisions are business assets. They are the first-class citizens of organizations. Therefore, they will be involved in strategy, design, and implementation.
Because business decisions have so many facets, it is not hard to lose the alignment as it goes to implementation. After a while, everyone (business, operations and IT) forgets why we had those decisions, how they help initiatives, and why we had them in the first place.
The context is easily lost and forgotten.
This is why alignment cannot be a Word document or PowerPoint in the meetings.
1️⃣ Alignment starts with Decision Frames.
2️⃣ Implementation is guided by Decision Frames.
3️⃣ Value is communicated and justified by Decision Frames.
The Decision Frame not only does the alignment but also ensures operations and data leaders can show the value of decisioning projects to business and project sponsors and a wide range of stakeholders.
✨How do you prioritize D&A and AI initiatives?
* Identify what decisions are critical to business
* How they impact business outcomes
* What business KPIs they improve
The “Decision Frame” bridges the boardroom and the engine room. It ensures that every decision can be:
🔹 Tracked back to its origin — why it was modeled,
🔹 Justified in its execution — how it was carried out, and
🔹 Explained in its operations — how it was embedded into real-world systems.
💣 Strategy. Action. Outcomes. All fully aligned.
