STOP⛔ confusing data governance and AI governance with decision governance.
They are not the same.
Data governance controls data.
AI governance controls models.
✨ But decisions?
Decisions approve loans.
Reject claims.
Trigger payments.
Block customers.
If you do not govern the decision itself:
• Ownership is unclear
• Logic is scattered
• AI acts without boundaries
• Compliance becomes reactive
Decision Governance stands on three pillars:
• Design governance
• Engineering governance
• Operations governance
Each pillar has a distinct responsibility.
Each addresses a specific enterprise governance requirement:
🔹Design defines the intent and structure and ensures alignment.
🔹Engineering controls how decisions are built in a composable and reusable form.
🔹Operations assembles decisions and ensures runtime control, monitoring, and accountability.
🚩 Miss one pillar, and your #DecisionGovernance has a big hole.
On March 26, I am hosting a webinar on Decision Governance.
We will go deep into what it really is and how these three pillars work in enterprise and regulated environments.
If decisions matter in your organization, this conversation matters.
