⛔Do not mistake Decision Intelligence for traditional decision automation projects.
Decision intelligence is gaining a lot of attention. However, I still see posts where people entirely misunderstand what it is and how to start a DI project!
💢Decision Intelligence (DI) is a thinking framework. It is all about business decisions and different levels of intelligence organizations develop to make and execute automated business decisions in a practical, safe, explainable and transparent manner.
* DI is not about #data and #BI.
* DI is not data science and algorithm development.
* DI is not about workflow, business processes, or any #rpa.
* DI is not about a business rules engine and legacy business rules management.
✨Decision Intelligence is simply about ensuring business decisions are the core of your organization.
🤔but that said, how can you do that?
How do you start a decision intelligence project?
What does it take to ensure business decisions become the first-class citizens of organizations?
👇The Decision Intelligence project will need to:
1️⃣ Start with business decisions and create a hierarchical, multi-step decision model
2️⃣ Leverage Composite AI to implement the intelligence that includes #ai #ml #rules #optimization etc.
3️⃣ Orchestrate everything around business decisions, e.g., data, process, systems, humans, #ai agents etc.
4️⃣ Operationalize the automated decisions by involving domain experts and SMEs when needed or reflecting the outcomes back into the organization's systems and processes.
