⛔ STOP calling Jev decision model.

Jev gives you a judgement output:
• probability
• choice
• yes / no
• score

So lets be clear, Jev produces an insight.

✨ A very useful and usable one for sure.

But an insight is not yet a decision.
Not from Jev or any other machine learning models for that matter.

You give it state and a bounded question. It gives you a typed answer with probabilities and confidence. Choice. Score. Yes/No.

That sounds much closer to a learned classifier or judgement model. It produces an answer, an insight.

💡 A decision model determines what that insight means in context and what organizational outcome should follow from it.

• Jev = insight / judgement model
• Decision Model = determines the organizational business decision outcome

That is why I would not call Jev a decision model. It provides insight to a decision model as an input.

I just would not confuse the model providing judgement with the model of the decision.
Otherwise, we are going to spend the next five years calling everything a decision model. 😂
