💥Human-in-the-loop for AI agents is a lie.

Not because humans aren't involved. They are.
But because what they're asked to do is meaningless.

Here's what HITL looks like in every agentic framework today:
Agent: I'm about to send this email. Proceed?
Human: clicks Yes.
That's not oversight. That's a confirmation gate.

No ability to delegate or redirect.
No feedback or judgment.
No loop at all.
No policy.
Just a pause button dressed up as governance.

💣 Here's your current HITL:
🔸 The human isn't reviewing the work. They're approving a function call.
🔸 There's no reject-and-redo. If the answer is no, the process stops. It doesn't improve.
🔸 There's no policy. One person confirms, every time, regardless of risk.
🔸 There's no delegation. If that person is unavailable, the agent waits forever.
🔸 There's no escalation. A $5 action and a $5M action get the same gate.

That's not a loop. That's a dead end with a button on it.

If your “human-in-the-loop” is a confirmation gate, your humans aren't in the loop.

They are blocking the ROI of agentic world.
