Stop 🛑 mixing AI governance with decision governance.

They are separate.
They are interconnected.
They are not the same thing.

That distinction matters.

AI governance asks:
• Is the AI model fair?
• Is it biased?
• Is it explainable?
• Is it drifting?
It governs the AI model lifecycle.

Decision governance asks:
• What business decision is being made?
• Who owns it?
• What logic defines it?
• What data is allowed as input?
• What AI model is allowed to influence it?
• How does it evolve?
• Can we explain and defend it?
• Is that compliant?
It governs the business decisions as an enterprise asset.

… Because a fair AI model can still drive a bad business decision.
… Because a compliant AI system can still operate inside a broken decision structure.

Most enterprises govern data.

Many now govern AI models.

💥 Almost none govern business decisions as enterprise assets.

That is the gap.

Data governance protects data.
AI governance protects AI models.

💣 Decision governance protects business decisions as enterprise assets.
