Interoperability in data, ai, rules and decisions is N🚫T just a fancy marketing jargon, it helps everyone. No joke!

I'm going to demystify the role of interoperability as it seems many are not understanding it correctly and the impact of it is underestimated.

⭕ne of the benefits of using open standards is interoperability.

All the open standards👇 bring interoperability in the age of #ai. This means you can leverage the power of decisions, data, and AI in your application without building a data and #ai platform!
🔹Decision Model and Notation (DMN)
🔹Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML)
🔹Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX)

These are all open standards that give the end user, vendors in #data #bi, and the IT software development team a great deal of power.

How?

Imagine you are a #data #bi vendor that needs to bring systematic decision-making to your data platform. This is a very big capability. In fact, there are vendors around the world, and all they do is provide decision management without even a data dashboard or reporting capability. It is a very complex job to allow users to manage business rules and business decisions. From creation, updating, and testing to operationalizing. Not only that, but also building debugger, tester, CLI toolkit, version control, permission and role access management, SDK integration, etc.

💥But here is the winner! You don't need to do any of that to empower your users. You don't even need to create a scrappy and hacky if-then-else engine and UI.

🚀By a simple integration to a DMN Engine with Conformance Level 3, you empower your users to leverage the full power of business rules and business decisions inside your own data platform or application e.g. #dataproduct.
