Problem With the Low-Code or Traditional Code-Based Solutions
The business operations teams must frequently update business decisions, policies, strategies, and rules.
Changes are across the business rules and decisions as well as pre-decision activities to collect and prepare
data and information for making decisions. Additionally, the post-decision activities integrate the outcome
of the decision result into processes and systems in the organization.
So it is not only about business rules and decisions, it is about everything around them, and therefore it
requires the heavy involvement of IT/Development teams. Software development teams using a low-code or
traditional code-based approach is complex, time-consuming, resource intensive,
and retriggers the SDLC and QA process. On top of all, DevOps trying to integrate decision deployment into
CI/CD pipeline based on proprietary decisions and rules storage and versioning is too complex.
All in all, these mean more delays for the operations teams and opportunity loss for the business.
